Catering

A copy of this year's Catering Rota, and which weeks remain to be filled, can be found on the link at the top of this page along with instructions on how to volunteer.

When you arrive please ensure that the urn is filled and lit. The urn takes at least an hour to boil.

Sandwiches/Cakes: Allow a minimum of 2 pieces per head, please check with Clem Wilson to see how the numbers are going this year or see the Weekly Attendances page for details of numbers over the last few years. The choice of whether you provide cakes or sandwiches or both is up to you. Budget for a maximum of £35.

Tea: Make this in the self-service urns - each holds 40 cups. Use 15 teabags and 1 pint of milk per urn. Put the urns on trolley top with cups, spoons and sugar so that people can help themselves. Do not put out saucers.

Squash: Available free throughout the evening. Use plastic cups provided. Place on table outside the kitchen with jugs of water. Only put out one bottle per flavour to avoid having lots of partly used bottles. Please ensure that the band is kept supplied with squash throughout the evening.

Milk: 3 pints will have been ordered in advance and left in the fridge.

Refreshments for the Band, MC and Door

Please bring these out before you lay out the general refreshments.

Band: There is a small teapot in the stores box for the band's use. Place on a tray with cups, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and a large plate of sandwiches and a few cakes. Place on the front of the stage at the far side.

MC: two cups of tea (Milk no sugar for Graham Hamilton) and a small plate of sandwiches to be placed on the front of the stage near side.

Door: Please check whether there is one or two people on the door and provide cups of tea and refreshments accordingly.

If you are unsure of anything please ask! The following people should be able to help.
